I would like to tell you a little about me, and why I started Sacred Endeavors. On December 23rd 2005 my brother-in law was struck by a pick up truck and killed while walking down Boston road in Wilbraham, MA. The days that followed were, as any one would expect, terrible, the family was in so much shock. I believe that the shock is a gift from God because without it we would go right into deep grieving and mourning and simply would not be able to function enough to get through the planning it takes to put a wake and funeral together. Well I have to tell you I experienced a bit more than the shock. It did not take long before my brother in law found his way to me. I felt him around me so strong, I could feel his essence around me. Now if that doesn’t sound crazy enough, I could also see him, but this sight I speak about is inner sight. I could not see him with my physical eyes, as the days and month’s passed he would prove to me over and over again it was really him, because of course I thought I was losing my mind. There are so many wonderful and amazing experiences that I feel so blessed to have experienced that I could write a book. So I could not possibly tell you about them in this short excerpt, but I will tell you that once you have awakened to Spirit, and you are suppose to be doing something in the spiritual sense spirit will not let you rest. That is why I started attending workshops based on the experiences I was having, hoping to meet other people who had similar experiences, and to ask questions, like what is it that I am suppose to be doing with these gifts that have awakened in me? It seems that we cannot really receive the answers from any one else because we possess those answers for ourselves, but it is so frustrating, because for the life of me I did not know what I was supposed to do. So with one last attempt of hoping to get some kind of answers, I thought maybe a respected psychic, Sylvia Browne, could help me. Now if you don’t know who Sylvia Browne, is I will fill you in. She is a world-renowned psychic medium and has been the whole seventy-one years of her life. She lives in California and to receive a reading from her you go on a three-year waiting list, well who has that long when you’re being taunted by Spirit? I looked into taking a workshop taught by Sylvia and I found she does this one-day gathering called a salon. It only consists of about forty people. The salon takes place in California, so to California I went. We all got to ask questions, and when she got to me I was able to tell her some of my amazing psychic experiences. I said “Sylvia what is it that I am suppose to do with these gifts? ” and she told me “psychotherapy” and without a thought, I told her “I’ve been doing that my whole life” and she says “well that’s what your supposed to be doing with your gifts now.” I have always been everyone’s therapist. Well that didn’t make me very happy. How does that tie into spiritual work? So it was my husband who suggested that I should do spiritual counseling. The next step was how do I put myself out there, and make myself available to people? My husband’s suggestion again, was to open a spiritual store. Sacred Endeavors was born. Now I meet many people and have many sit down conversations with people. I now know what Sylvia meant; my gifts are to listen to others, and what they are going through in their lives. If individuals are truly ready to receive what it is they need to help them on there spiritual path, spirit will channel through me and help guide them along, I have come to realize that my counseling abilities are my God given gifts. I did not go to college and receive a degree, it’s kind of like a natural born artist that never had an art lesson. I know that my own lessons in life come into play with the knowledge I acquire through Spirit and that is why I am here.
